ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report within a time prescribed by this Court with relation to Crime No.833 of 2015.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the first petitioner is the father of one K.Monisha and the second petitioner is the mother of one M.Nandhini, who were the students of TVR Girls Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Due to the unfortunate incident that had happened on 13.4.2015 at around 12.45 p.m. in the said school premises, the said K.Monisha and M.Nandhini had died. In this regard, a case was registered in Crime No.833 of 2015 on 13.4.2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 288, 337 and 304(A) I.P.C. But, even after expiry of 180 days, the respondent has not chosen to file final report. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.833 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
