Prayer :- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents police to give police protection to the petitioner and his property on erecting fence around his land which is morefully described in the schedule to this petition and to take legal action against the adjacent land owner, if necessary. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has filed this petition seeking for police protection.

2. It is seen from the typed set of papers that on 14.11.2014, a complaint was given by the petitioner to the respondent police making allegations against Selvam and others, as if they had threatened the petitioner from enjoying the property.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that no such complaint dated 14.11.2014 was received by the respondent police. He also submitted that if any complaint is given by the petitioner, depending upon the nature of allegation given in the complaint, action will be taken by the police. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to give a copy of the complaint dated 14.11.2014 to the respondent police and the respondent police is directed to act on the complaint by following the principles laid down in alita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others, reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)] .
