This petition has been filed by the applicant/defendant to condone the delay of 1676 days in filing the written statement by the applicant/5th defendant in the above suit C.S No.65 of 2017

2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

3.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application, this Court hereby directs the applicant/5th defendant to pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) as cost, to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai on or before 07.07.2022.

4. Accordingly, this application is allowed.
