Writ Petition No.2866 of 2015 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner, dated 24.11.
2014 for the issuance of Community Certificate to the petitioner and his dauaghter S.Aswini that they belong to "Kattunayakan (ST) Community" based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner's blood relative. Writ Petition No.2867 of 2015 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner, dated 25.11.2014 for the issuance of Community Certificate to the petitioner and his son A.Uthandi based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioner's relative that they belong to "Kattunayakan (ST) Community".

ORDER
(The Order of the Court was made by V.Dhanapalan,J) Heard Mr.M.P.Vairakkannan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader who took notice for the respondent.

These Writ Petitions are filed by the petitioners for a direction to the respondent to pass orders on the applications of the petitioners, dated 24.11.2014 in W.P.Nos.2865 and 2866 of 2015 and dated 25.11.2014 in W.P.No.2867 of 2015, for issuance of the Community Certificates to the petitioners and their children that they belong to "Kattunayakan (ST) Community" based upon the Community Certificate already issued to the petitioners' blood relatives that they belong to "Kattunayakan (ST) Community".
3. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioners in these Writ Petitions as to the consideration of their respective applications and as the learned counsel for the petitioners also pleaded before this Court that a direction may kindly be issued to the respondent to consider the respective applications in accordance with law and though the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that he has not received any instructions, but only prayed for a reasonable time to dispose of the said applications and having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the said applications of the petitioners, dated 24.11.2014 and 25.11.2014 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and all concerned. The Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
