ORDER
The writ petition is filed for the relief set out below:
"directing the Respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioner dated 14/03/2025, 23/04/2025 and 23/03/2026 for promotion as Technical Assistant on par with his Junior Tmt.R.Banupriya and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with Law, within a reasonable period as may be fixed by this Court."
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is working as Pipeline Fitter Grade I in the Cuddalore City Municipal Corporation from since 1991. While so, his next promotion is to the post of Technical Assistant. Due to administrative mistakes, his junior one R.Banupriya got promoted to the existing vacancy.

Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made several representations dated 14.03.2025, 23.04.2025 and finally on 23.03.2026 to promote him as Technical Assistant based on the seniority and the vacancy position on par with his junior with all service and monetary benefits, for which, there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 14.03.2025, 23.04.2025 and finally on 23.03.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
