Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to publish the petitioner result of the B.Ed., Examination 2010 held in May/June 2010 (petitioner's register No.1070209BD061).

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner would state that he joined the 2nd respondent Teachers Training College Education, during the academic year 2009-2010, after satisfying himself that the College has been granted recognition and approval and undergone the course and had written the examination during the year 2010. However, the results have not been published and in this regard,

he has submitted a representation dated 20.05.2016 to the 1st respondent, praying for declaration of the results and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.

Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in similar facts and circumstances, this Court has passed series of following orders:- [a] Order dated 20.09.2013 made in WP.No.9292/2013 [A.Selvi Vs. The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Lady Willington College Campus, Kamaraj Salai, Chennai and another] [b] Common order dated 09.10.2014 made in WP.No.30772/2013, 4460 and 5021/2014 [V.Kalaiselvi and others Vs. The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Lady Willington College Campus, Kamaraj Salai, Chennai and another] [c] Order dated 09.10.2015 made in WP.No.16264/2015 [P.Maheskumar Vs. The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Lady Willington College Campus, Kamaraj Salai, Chennai and another] and would submit that in the light of the said orders, wherein positive directions were given for publication of the results, there cannot be any impediment on the part of the 1st respondent to publish the results of the examination undergone by the petitioner during May-June 2010 and prays for appropriate orders.

Heard the submissions of Mr.U.Venkatesh, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. This Court, in a series of orders, has directed the concerned respondent therein to declare the results of the petitioners therein, subject to the petitioners having been qualified for admission in the B.Ed course and subject to attendance requirement in respect of the students undergone studies in the 2nd respondent Institution therein. In the light of the above facts and circumstances, this Court directs the 1st respondent to declare the result of the B.Ed examination written by the petitioner held during MayJune 2010, subject to the petitioner having qualified for admission to the B.Ed course and also satisfy the attendance requirements, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
