ORDER
Mrs.M.Geetha Thamaraiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, to direct the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner representations dated 21.01.2022 and 08.03.2022 and to take appropriate action in accordance with law. 3.It appears that there is a power struggle between the siblings of Late N.Ramalinga Reddiar and that his elder son N.R.R.Janarthanam who was in control of Sri Jayendra Satguru
Samajam, a Temple registered with the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department.
4.The petitioner who is the younger brother appears to have grouse against his elder brother stating that there is a lot of mismanagement and misappropriation of the amounts and therefore he has sent a representation to the Chief Minister's Cell on 21.01.2022 and once again to the second respondent on 08.03.2022. 5.The petitioner wants the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department to audit the income and expenditure incurred.
6.The learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents on the other hand would submit that acting on the representations, the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department is seized of the matter and that Inspector of Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Department (HR&CE) has also given a recommendation for appointing a fit person. 7.Considering the fact that the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department is seized of the matter and the petitioner representations is under active consideration, I am inclined to close this writ petition recording the above submission of the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. It is sufficient to state that proper notice may also issued to the petitioner and his elder brother namely N.R.R.Janarthanam, before the fit person is appointed. 8.This Writ Petition is closed with the above observations. No costs.
