Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments from Theepanchi Amman Pond comprised in Survey No.198/1A1A1N2, T.S.No.30 measuring to an extent of about 1.00 Acre in Block No.10, Ward-A of 011-Mitnamalli Village situated at Theepanchi Amman Nagar, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District and restore back the pond for the usage of the common public within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
