Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records and quash the impugned order of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.11949/2019, dated 16.05.2019 and further direct the second and third respondents to conduct the festival as per the custom and tradition of the previous years.

O R D E R

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.R.Sivaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent, Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent and Mr.T.V.Ramanujam, learned Senior Counsel instructed by Ms.Ramya for third party Mr.Vasudevan, made elaborate submissions.

2. However, nearly at the end of the course of the prolonged hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made the following endorsement in the bundle:- "The petitioner may be permitted to approach/ represent before the Commissioner and review the impugned order".

3. In view of the above endorsement, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach/ represent before the Commissioner, HR and CE/2nd respondent and seek review of the impugned order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
