The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking to direct the respondent to consider the representation made by him dated 08.02.2012 for promotion to the post of Station Officer within the time as stipulated by this Court so as to enable the petitioner to be considered for promotion prior to the date of his retirement on 30.04.2012 .
2. Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsels appearing for both the petitioner as well as the respondent made a submission that the writ petitioner retired from service in the year 2012 itself and therefore, the writ petition may be closed.
3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for both the petitioner as well as the respondent, the Writ Petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
