ORDER
This petition is filed seeking extension of time to make the payment of Rs.2,00,000/- which the petitioner has to pay on or before 15.04.2025, by another two weeks as per order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.897 of 2025 dated 28.01.2025.
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner has duly made the first two payments of Rs.2,00,000/- each on 15.02.2025 and 15.03.2025, within the stipulated time. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the petitioner was unable to mobilize funds for the third payment of Rs.2,00,000/- which fell due on 15.04.2025. Hence, the petitioner seeks an extension of two weeks to comply with the order.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the intervenor and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant the relief sought for. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the petitioner is granted an extension of time till 04.07.2025 to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.812 of 2024. 18-06-2025 Jai Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
