ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.12.2024 for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b)(ii)(c), 28 and 29 of NDPS Act in P.R.No.49 of 2024 (NCB.No.48/1/23/2024/NCB/MDS) on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The prosecution case is that petitioner herein was involved in transportation, acquiring, possession and attempted to transport 848 kgs of Ganja Concealed in a Ashok Leyland Lorry. While transporting the same, he caught red handed.

3.No representation for the petitioner.

4. Already the respondent filed counter and it has been stated that the petitioner is involved in transportation of 848 kgs of Ganja.

5. Considering the above and that rigors of Section 37 of NDPS Act is applicable in this case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
