Heard Mr.R.Jai Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 2.The order impugned in this writ petition is an order of transfer. Pursuant to the interim direction issued by this Court on 17.12.2015, the petitioner has joined the transferred depot at Udumalpet. Now, the issue would be as to the period during which the petitioner did not report for duty. However, this need not be gone into in this writ petition since already a charge memo in this regard has been issued.

3.Therefore, by holding that there is nothing more to be adjudicated in this writ petition, as the petitioner has joined the Udumalpet depot, the writ petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to file an explanation to the charge memo and contest the same on merits. No costs.
