ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 27.05.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(a) r/w 4 (1-A) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act in crime No.628 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 27.05.2022, the petitioner was found in possession of 25 litres of ID arrack. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has two previous cases. He would further submit that there is a proposal for detaining the petitioner under Goondas Act. Further, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial cutody only on 27.05.2022. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
