ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 8(c) of NDPS Act, 1985 in Crime No.717 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. Page No.1 of 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. The case of the prosecution is that A1 to A3 were found in illegal possession of 2 kgs of ganja; that the confession statement of the co-accused revealed that the petitioner was also involved in the said offence. Hence the case.

3. It is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the earlier anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn in Crl.O.P. No.8519 of 2025 on 21.03.2025 and there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner. 4.The petitioner has seven previous cases out of which five cases are under NDPS Act. The petitioner has not referred, the earlier dismissal order in this petition. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail and accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 23.04.2025 rkp Copy to:
