This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to abide by the Street Vendors [Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending] Act of 2014 by allowing the members of the petitioner's association to do business at Gandhi Street and Kottai Street, Arni, Tiruvannamalai.

2. It is the case of the Writ Petitioners that the Writ Petitioners are licensed street vendors and they are carrying on their business in the platform. However, recently the respondents are attempting to dispossess them.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the second and third respondents, on instructions, submitted that shops have been allotted to the petitioners and they are continuing the business.
4. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second and third respondents, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 15.02.2023 Index:Yes/No vrc 3/5
