ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide escort to the petitioner's father Karunanidhi @ Karuna, Son of Manokaran, Life Convict, Ct.No.15157, now confined in Central Prison, Cuddalore, to avail of leave already granted by the first respondent to him, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has already been given escort and, therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this petition.

4. Recording the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
