The petitioner, alleging that he has been falsely implicated by the respondent for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C. r/w Section 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, seeks a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Salem to consider the bail application on the same day on merits in Crime No.221/2015 on the file of respondent police.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to surrender before the concerned Court and file a bail application and hence, a direction may be issued to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner on merits on the same day.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Salem, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Salem, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner on his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders.

4.The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
