ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register an F.I.R. based on the petitioner's complaint dated 20.11.2015.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the petitioner married one Shankar Ganesh on 30.08.2009. After marriage, her husband has not spent a penny for the petitioner and her child. When the petitioner questioned about the same, her husband quarrelled with her and kicked her in her stomach, due to which she is visiting hospital for treatment ever since the said incident. Hence, she gave a complaint with the respondent police on 20.11.2015. Though the said complaint has been received and CSR No.590/PS/CSR/2015 has been assigned, till date no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

Since the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been assigned CSR Number as CSR No.590/PS/CSR/2015, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry in CSR No.590/PS/CSR/2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
