The Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to consider the representation dated 05.04.2019 made by the Petitioner for allotment of plot and allot the Plot No.A-13(C) or allot the 20 feet land (way) west side of Plot No.A-13(C) situated in Survey No.16, Industrial Estate, New Gummidipoondi 2.
Heard, Mr. P. Ganesan, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, Mr. M. Karthikeyan, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that before filing the Writ Petition, the Petitioner had made a representation dated 05.04.2019, which has not been considered by the concerned authority.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, submits that the aforesaid representation would be considered and disposed by the concerned authority within a period of three weeks today and the said statement is recorded.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter. It is made clear that this Court does not expressed any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made by the Petitioner. It shall be incumbent upon the competent authority to consider the representation dated 05.04.2019 made by the Petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass a reasoned order and communicate the decision taken to the Petitioner and file a compliance report before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court by 31.07.2019.
