O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The relief sought is to remove the jammer instrument from the Central Prison, Puducherry, on account of inconvenience caused to the families living in nearby areas.

2.In so far as the installation of jammer is concerned, the same arises qua security concerns on account of use of mobile in Central Prison. The concerned authorities may, however, look into the issue to see whether it is possible to deal with the security issue and simultaneously provide some mechanism whereby use of mobile in nearby area is not affected.
