The petitioner, who apprehends arrest in the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 111(3) and 306 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (B.N.S.) Act, 2023 and Section 66D of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 in connection with the case in Crime No.56 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is not an accused in the aforesaid case.
