O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant police protection for the property situated at Old S.No.57/3, Patta No.762, New S.No.57/3B at No.23, Vengadamangalam Village, Chengalpattu Taluk, formerly Kancheepuram District now Chengalpattu District measuring to an extent of 1.01.0 Hectare or Acre 2.50 cents, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2024.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the official respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Since there is no adverse order passed against the private respondents 2 and 3 notice to the private respondents/R2 and R3 is dispensed with.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and also considering the relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2024, after affording opportunity of hearing the petitioner as well as the private respondents herein and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
