This petition has been filed to call for the entire records concerned in Cr.No.61 of 2015 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Thoothur Police Station, Thoothur, Ariyalur District and quash the same.

2. The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.61/2015 which was registered under section 174 Cr.P.C. Now, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition to quash the said complaint.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that now, the offence has been altered to Sections 147, 148, 364, 302 IPC and the investigation is almost over and the final report would be filed shortly.

4. Since the case has been altered from section 174 Cr.P.C to Sections 147, 148, 364, 302 IPC and the investigation is almost over, this petition cannot be entertained and the same is liable to be dismissed inlimine. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
