ORDER

This writ petition is filed for quashment of the order of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.19262/C1/2020 dated 23.07.2020 and consequently, to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the panel list for promotion to the post of Additional Director.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the petitioner has superannuated from service on 30.04.2023, nothing survives for further adjudication. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous and he also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner coupled with endorsement, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
