Mr.P.Senthilvel, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the second appeal dated 23.06.2017 filed under the Right to Information Act, 2005 within the time to be fixed by this Court.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first appeal filed by the petitioner has neither been replied nor any action taken by the 2nd respondent. Hence, he filed the second appeal before the 1st respondent on 23.06.21017 but the same has not been disposed of so far.

5. This Court, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to dispose of the second appeal filed by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the appeal is not disposed of already. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of No costs.
