ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.3.2015.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her brother Amaran proposed to sell their ancestral property situated at Minjur, along with the petitioner. As requested by her brother, the petitioner went to the Sub Registrar Office, Ponneri and executed the sale deed. Upon completion of all formalities, her brother handed over a sum of Rs.1,45,000/- to the petitioner. While she was returning to her house, she was waylaid by her brother's wife and his family members. They quarrelled with the petitioner and abused her and forcibly took away the said amount of Rs.1,45,000/-. Hence, she has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 25.3.2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature. However, the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 25.3.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.46 of 2015.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 25.3.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.46 of 2015, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.46 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
