ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 29.9.2015 and enquire the same and to take action against the accused persons.

2. In the petition, it is averred that the petitioner is doing textile business for more than ten years. While so, on 26.9.2015 at around 3.30 p.m., when the petitioner entered into his shop, he was shocked to see the lock of the shop broke open and the entire dress materials worth about Rs.5,00,000/- was damaged. Hence, he has lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 29.09.2015. But, thereafter, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 29.09.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.44 of 2015.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 29.09.2015 has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.44 of 2015, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.44 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
