ORDER

The petitioner is a local body represented by President. Pursuant to the proceedings of the Block Development Officer, Modakurichi, dated 04.08.2015, a representation was made to the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Chennai on 18.08.2015, to remove the karuvelam trees in existence in Survey Nos.375 and 376(i). The Assistant Commissioner, H.R. & C.E. Department, Erode viz., the third respondent herein, has, in and by proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3084/2015/A6 dated 01.09.2015, requested the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2015 as well as the earlier proceedings https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 20.03.2014. Thereafter, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the communication dated 01.09.2015 sent by the third respondent with the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to take appropriate steps within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
