Prayer : - Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2021 and dispose it within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
(1) Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.
(2) The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus, seeking examination of a representation dated 30.11.2020 given by the petitioner to the 1st respondent, viz., the Revenue Divisional Officer, at Cheyyar, Tiruvannamalai District.
(3) The petitioner had claimed patta to be transferred in his name with respect to the lands in Perunkadaputhur Revenue https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Village in S.No.37/18 measuring to an extent of 0.42 cents. The petitioner claims that he had purchased the said property by a registered document registered as Doc.No.1717/2016 on 14.11.2016. When petitioner sought transfer of patta, he was informed that patta had already been granted or rather stands in the name of another individual, viz., Dhayanithi, S/o.Varathan, the 3rd respondent herein. It is also informed to the petitioner that this entry was pursuant to the UDR Survey. The petitioner had, therefore given the said representation on 30.11.2020.
(4) An obligation is placed on the 1st respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Cheyyar Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District to examine the representation dated 30.11.2020, issue notice to the petitioner, issue notice to the said Dhayanidhi S/o.Varathan / 3rd respondent herein and to any other individuals who may be directly or indirectly connected with the said lands of the petitioner and thereafter pass a detailed order preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
(5) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
