Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
2. The petitioner herein seeks Mandamus to direct the respondents to restore the Electricity supply to his residence at Door No.29, Vallal Ms.Jaffar Nagar, Karani, Kadambattur, Tiruvallur District.
According to the petitioner, the Electricity Service connection given to his residence was disconnected pursuant to the communication given by the State Bank of India, which has subjected his property for e-auction and for non-payment of dues, the service connection was disconnected.
On 16.05.2019, through his counsel, the petitioner has caused notice to the respondents to restore the electricity service connection. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondent to restore the connection, pursuant to the notice sent by him.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that immediately after receiving the notice from the petitioner counsel, the Assistant Executive Engineer has communicated to the counsel that certain documents are required and if the petitioner submits those documents, his application for re-connection will be considered. The copy of the letter dated 23.05.2019 is now given to the counsel on record by the respondents. Pursuant to this communication, nothing survives in this Writ Petition.
