JUDGMENT
The learned counsel for the appellant stated that the appellant had already undergone a period of imprisonment awarded by the Trial Court and hence nothing survives in this Appeal. 2.The learned Government Advocate had also confirmed that the appellant was released on 16.05.2008 from the Central Prison, Coimbatore.
3.As the learned counsel for the appellant himself does not wish to argue the appeal on merits, the appeal is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
