Respondents The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.1.2013, and also to disconnect the electricity supply already given to Variar Nagar, comprised in S.No.329/2, Ponnur village, Thellar Panchayat union, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, in view of the cancellation of the layout approval, dated 2.11.2012, in Na.Ka.No.5319/2012/oo.va.o.e.(oo)a5, passed by the District Collector of Thiruvannamalai.

Heard.

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.1.2013, and also to disconnect the electricity supply already given to Variar Nagar, comprised in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

S.No.329/2, Ponnur village, Thellar Panchayat union, Vandavasi Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, in view of the cancellation of the layout approval, dated 2.11.2012, in Na.Ka.No.5319/2012/oo.va.o.e.(oo)a5, passed by the District Collector of Thiruvannamalai.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, a communication issued by the Block Development Officer, Thellar village, signed on 23.2.2013, had been placed before this Court. The said communication had been issued to the President of Ponnur Panchayat, stating that no facilities, including water supply and electricity connection, should be granted to the developers, relating to the property in S.No.329/2, Ponnur village, Thellar Panchayat union, Vandavasi taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

In view of the said communication issued by the Block Development Officer, Thellar, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. Hence, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
