The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider their representations dated 17.01.2018, wherein and whereby, they sought for permission to provide Cable TV Services connection to 500 Allotees / Subscribers in the newly built Moorthinagar Street, Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board Scheme Plan Tenaments, Vyasarpadi, Chennai-600 039.

4. The grievance of the petitioners is that their representations have not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the respondents to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 17.01.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
