Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents from opening TASMAC Liquor Shop in and around the Ganapathi Nagar Colony, Kandigai Venkadamangalam Panchayat, Kattangulathur Union, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.,) The petitioner has filed the above writ petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the respondents

from opening TASMAC Liquor Shop in and around the Ganapathi Nagar Colony, Kandigai Venkadamangalam Panchayat, Kattangulathur Union, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.05.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Apprehending that the TASMAC Liquor Shop will be opened in the said area, where School, Temple, Houses, Business Establishments, etc., are located, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 14.05.2018 to the first respondent and since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed the above writ petition for the relief stated supra.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, this Court, directs the first respondent to consider the said representation, and afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and others concerned and dispose of the said representation on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
