Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to sub divide the land and to issue individual patta for the land comprised in Survey No.96/1A measuring an extent of 70 cents situate at Ettivadi Village, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, within a reasonable time.

ORDER

The petitioner sought for patta based upon the sale deed dated 14.02.1983. It is the case of the petitioner that the said sale deed has been executed in favour of the petitioner's grandfather. Enclosing the legal heirship certificate as well as the death certificate, the petitioner made a representation on 22.04.2015 for issuance of patta. As the said representation is still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation and without going into the merits of the same, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
