PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st & 2nd respondents to take necessary action against the 4th and 5th respondents for the unAuthorized and illegal act, misappropriation and mal-administration in Masjid & Madrasa-E-Quraishiya, Chennai-2 and to continue and extend the term of Ad-hoc Ramadan Committee members for the administration to appoint this Ramadan Committee member as the Adhoc Committee for a stipulated period for the Masijd & Madras-E-Quraishiya, till the accounts are audited by a proper auditor appointed by the Hon'ble Wakf Board, by considering representation dated 1.6.2018.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st & 2nd respondents to take necessary action

against the 4th and 5th respondents for the unauthorized and illegal act, misappropriation and mal-administration in Masjid & Madrasas-Ramadan Committee members for the administration to appoint this Ramadan Committee member as the Adhoc Committee for a stipulated period for the Masijd & Madras-E-Quraishiya, till the accounts are audited by a proper auditor appointed by the Hon'ble Wakf Board, by considering representation dated 01.06.2018.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the first and second respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.06.2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

3. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.06.2018, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the

petitioner as well as the respondents 4 and 5 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
