ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st Respondent to reinstate the Petitioner in service as Assistant with all back wages, eligible promotions, continuity of service and all other attendant benefits by considering the representation of the Petitioner dated 18.7.2012.

2. This court heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials placed on record.

3. After some elaborate arguments, the learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that in the criminal case though the Petitioner has been convicted by the Trial Court, in the appeal, he has been acquitted and thereafter, he has made a representation to the 1st Respondent, but not order has been passed and hence, now he seeks to dispose of the said representation at the earliest. Even in the counter, it is stated that necessary orders will be passed as expeditiously as possible. Therefore, in view of the long pendency of the matter, the 1st Respondent is directed to dispose of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation of the Petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected MP is closed.
