ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition case has been filed seeking to direct the learned Sub Judge, Kancheepuram to dispose the HMOP.No.349 of 2024 as expeditiously within the time frame by this Court.

2. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submits that already husband has filed an application in HMOP No.198 of 2017 for divorce and the same was withdrawn, as if he is inclined for reunion for that the revision petitioner also endorsed. After withdrawing the petition, he filed the application in GWOP No.10 of 2021, immediately, in order to harass the revision petitioner. Therefore, necessity arose for her to file the divorce petition. The said dispute is pending for more than ten years.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition and taking note of the fact that the HMOP case is pending from the year 2019, this Court directs the learned Sub Judge, Kancheepuram, to dispose of the HMOP No.349 of 2024 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
