Ms.Chandini Pradeep Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the very design registration has expired and as such nothing survives in the suit. She would, however, state that she does not have any objection for the amendment application as such.

2. Considering the fact that the suit contains the prayer for accounting also, I do not think that the suit can be disposed of as infructuous. Hence the application for amendment is allowed. The plaintiff is permitted to carry out the necessary amendment and file amended copies of the plaint by 16.08.2021.
