Mr.S.J.Mohammed Sathak, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents. Heard both.
2. This is a petition filed by the petitioners seeking to direct the second respondent to conduct a detailed enquiry upon the representations dated 13.3.2024 and 30.4.2024 and decide the same on merits within the time frame fixed by this Court.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have received a communication from the third respondent in respect of their representations dated 13.3.2024 and 30.4.2024 and he would only pray for a direction to be issued to the third respondent to complete the enquiry within a specified period.
4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the interested parties and complete the enquiry as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
5. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. W.M.P.No.14373 of 2024 seeking permission to file a single writ petition is ordered.
