The petitioner was granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.27516 of 2024 dated 30.10.2024 with one of the conditions that the petitioner has to appear before the Inspector of Police, V-5, Thirumangalam Police Station, Chennai in Crime No.339 of 2024 daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
2. The contention of the petitioner is that the petitioner complied with the said condition regularly for nine days and on 10 th day, when he went to sign in the Thirumangalam Police Station, a case has been registered by the JJ Nagar Police in Crime No.771 of 2024, under Section 310(4) of BNSS R/W. Section 25(1A) of Arms Act. The petitioner was remanded in that case and thereafter the petitioner had filed a bail application in Crl.O.P.No.30926 of 2024 and the petitioner was granted bail by this Court, vide order dated 12.12.2024 in which the condition imposed that the petitioner to appear before the Inspector of Police, V-3, JJ Nagar Police Station, everyday at 06.30 p.m., until further orders. The petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly. The petitioner was informed that since the JJ Nagar Police Station and the Thirumangalam Police Station comes under the same jurisdiction of the Assistant Commissioner of Police and the petitioner's 2/4
appearance before the JJ Nagar Police Station would be sufficient. On that belief, the petitioner has been appearing before the JJ Nagar Police Station and later the petitioner has also filed a relaxation petition on 07.04.2025 which was allowed at that time as there was no objections. Now, the investigation in Crime No.339 of 2024 had been completed, charge sheet filed, which is pending trial before XVI Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in S.C.No.374 of 2024 and now filed the present petition seeking relaxation. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent opposed the contention of the petitioner stating that the petitioner had complied with the conditions only for nine days and thereafter failed to appear before this Court.
He would contend that the petitioner was arrested by the JJ Nagar Police in Crime No.771 of 2024 and later came out on bail and the investigation in Crime No.339 of 2024 had been completed, charge sheet filed and which is pending trial before XVI Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai in S.C.No.374 of 2024. He would further contend that the petitioner is a notorious person and keeping a watch on the petitioner is very much required. Hence, the petitioner may be directed to appear before the respondent police.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
