ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the first respondent herein to complete the investigation in Crime No.303 of 2015 and file a final report before the concerned Court within the stipulated time.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has lodged a complaint with the first respondent police on 31.7.2015 as against one T.Vedanayagi @ Gayathri and the same was registered in Crime No.303 of 2015 for the offence punishable under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sections 406 and 420 I.P.C. But, till date, the respondent police has not filed the final report. Hence, the petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that during the course of investigation, the respondent police has to verify lot of documents and therefore, it consumes considerable time to investigate the matter.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the first respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.303 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
