The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2022 and to provide police protection for the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is not appearing before the police.

4. In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to cooperate with the police for investigation and the police shall enquire and decide on its own merits.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
