Prayer: Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to implement the punishment imposed on the petitioner in W.P.No. 8413/2007 dated 12.03.2014 and grant monetary aspects with arrears of salary and also the pension within a reasonable and grant such other further relief. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to implement the punishment imposed on the petitioner in W.P.No. 8413 of 2007 dated 12.03.2014.

2. The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, brought to the notice of this court that the writ petitioner, P. Ganesan, submitted a voluntary retirement application and the said application was accepted with effect from 15.02.2016. The terminal and pensionery benefits due to the petitioner also had been settled in entirety.

3. The learned Senior Counsel, appearing on behalf of the petitioner,

made a submission that the correctness of the fixation is to be verified.

4. It is for the petitioner to verify the correctness or otherwise. If any grievance exist regarding the fixation, he is at liberty to approach the competent authorities for redressing his grievance in the manner known to law.
