Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 9 to 11 to take immediate steps to provide sufficient water pipelines to provide water to all the residents forthwith in TNHB Area, Manali Scheme, Phase I and II, Manali New Town, Chennai - 68 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2017.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This public interest litigation has been filed, seeking a direction to respondents 9 to 11 to take immediate steps to provide water pipelines for the purpose of providing water

supply to the residents of the locality pursuant to the representation made on 14.07.2017.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for respondents 9 to 11 would submit that steps are being taken to provide water supply. He would further submit that the project would be completed in the month of October, 2018.

3.The above said statement made by the learned counsel for respondents 9 to 11 stands recorded. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
