This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking direction to accept the surrender of the petitioners herein and to consider their bail application, who apprehend arrest for the offence under SC/ST Act in Crime No.169 of 2024. In view of Section 15A of the SC & ST Act, the prayer in this petition cannot be acceded and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court that there should not be violation of mandate spirit of the Statute.
