Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2021 and pass orders on the same with regard to regularise the petitioner's service in the post of Cook with effect form 05.07.1995 onwards for the purpose of pension within a reasonable time. ORDER

1.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal and disposed of by this order.

Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

The present writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2021 seeking regularisation of his service as Cook with effect from 05.07.1995 for the purpose of pension.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and also perused the materials placed.

This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation or the case projected by him in this writ petition, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.01.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein. 6.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
