..Respondent(s) To relax the condition imposed on the petitioners herein by this Court in Crl.OP.No.5807 of 2026 by order dated 11.03.2026 and directing the petitioners shall stay at Madurai and sign before the Tallakulam Police Station daily at 10.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m for period of four weeks and thereafter, as and when required.

ORDER

This Petition has been filed seeking relaxation of the condition imposed by this Court in order dated 11.03.2026 in Crl.OP.No.5807 of 2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are finding it difficult to report before the respondent police. It is further submitted that they are poor coolie and permanent resident of the Chengalpattu District, and hence, they pray for the relaxation of the said condition.

3. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), appearing on behalf of the respondent Police, submits that the petitioners have not complied with the condition to stay and report before the respondent police twice for four weeks.

4. It is observed that the petitioners have failed to comply with the original directions of this Court. In the absence of a bona fide effort to obey the earlier directions, this Court finds no valid ground or change in circumstances to warrant a relaxation at this stage.
