3 MURUGANANTHAM Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to [i]permit the Petitioner/Proposed Respondent to be impleaded in the Criminal petition filed by the Petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1655 of 2018 and pass such further or other orders[CRL.MP.NO.1603/2018] [ii]permit the Petitioner/Proposed Respondent to be impleaded in the Criminal petition filed by the Petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1655 of 2018 and pass such further or other orders[CRL.MP.NO.1604/2018] [iii]permit the Petitioner/Proposed Respondent to be impleaded in the Criminal petition filed by the Petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.1655 of 2018 and pass such further or other orders[CRL.MP.NO.1605/2018] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of G.DEVARAJAN PARTY IN PERSON for [CRL.MP.NO.1603/2018] M/S.K.MOHAN Advocate for [CRL.MP.NO.1604/2018] and of E.V.S.RAJAKUMAR NAIDU PARTY IN PERSON FOR [CRL.MP.NO.1605/2018] and of MR.KRITIKAKAMAL.P Government Advocate[crl.side] on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:-

Since the petitioners are playing active role as social activists in creating awareness amongst the general public on many social issues, they have filed the present petition to implead themselves as respondents in Crl.O.P.No.1655 of 2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.Crl.O.P.No.1655 of 2018 has been filed challenging the FIR in Crime No.31 of 2018 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kolathur Police Station and quash the same.

Since the aforesaid Criminal Original Petition is not a public interest litigation, the petitioners are not necessary parties to the same.
